Running Claude Code on DeepSeek costs $0.0043 per small job — and it audits GitHub repos in 70s

Developer Prajwal Tomar shares two Claude tricks:
- Cheap routine jobs: he set up a second command running Claude Code on DeepSeek with the same folders and setup; a test job cost just $0.0043. Routine work goes there, saving Opus usage for work that matters.
- Auditing GitHub repos before installing: on a super-popular skill pack with 300K stars, Claude found in 70 seconds a hook that runs every time Claude Code starts, plus a usage counter that's on by default — none of which the star count reveals.
