Indie dev: pomodoro timers are the first app made obsolete by the agent era
yihui_indie · x · 2026-11-05
Indie developer yihuiindie shares that as a longtime pomodoro technique user, he hasn't opened a pomodoro timer all year — in the agent era he can no longer plan what to do within a 25-minute block, since he now runs five or six tasks in parallel at any given time. His calendar screenshot shows overlapping agent-run tasks across multiple projects all day, illustrating how parallel agent workflows have broken single-threaded time management.
