DeepSeek's dsh-superagent: a coding agent whose rulebook is 'stop narrating your work'
shoumikgoswami · reddit · 2026-11-05
A new repo under deepseek-ai, dsh-superagent, defines a useful agent as one that takes as little human attention as possible. It listens to GitHub (optionally Feishu), works on a repo request in its own session and directory, then reports back in the original conversation.
Its social contract: act only when an allowed person asks or a written team rule permits; confirm once, then stay quiet while working; speak again only for usable results, decisions, or blockers; unrequested proactive work starts as a record of what it would have done, not an action.
Caveats: the README calls it a research prototype, not an official DeepSeek product; separate sessions are not a security sandbox — it runs with full access as the operator's OS user, and docs recommend a dedicated OS account.
