Neal Khosla: agents will cause "friction collapse" and break today's social norms
rbhar90 · x · 2026-11-05
Neal Khosla argues agents will break the human-behavior assumptions underlying today's systems—a "friction collapse". Once participation requires no effort, norms collapse: ticket sales become thousands of agents racing in milliseconds (already seen with job applications and restaurant reservations), and anything relying on effortful participation—sales outreach, benefits, rentals, doctor appointments, RFPs, support—stops working.
