LongTails: 25+ new optimization results with Lean 4-verified proofs, improving known complexity bounds
IgorCarron · x · 2026-11-05
The LongTails project (work by Alexander Tyurin, announced by Ivan Oseledets) applies AI to mathematical optimization, delivering 25+ new optimization results including major improvements to known complexity bounds.
All proofs are verified in Lean 4, and both the project site and GitHub repo are public. Igor Carron amplified it, noting "some of the constants are crazy."
