Researchers at USC's Stevens INI are leading the Global Initiative for Harmonized Functional MRI in Psychiatry, backed by a five-year, $3.2M NIH grant.
- Will analyze 94,000+ brain scans from 257 sites in 27 countries (ages 4–95), billed as the largest functional MRI study ever
- Covers schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, autism, and anorexia nervosa, harmonizing resting-state functional connectivity so disease-specific and shared signatures can be compared
- In the quoted thread, PTenigma asks whether DMD features beat ridge/Tab-PFN on static Schaefer rsFC matrices, and at what N,T the spectral cones crossover — speculating crossover happens only at some N on a spectral clock per disease
