One Prompt, Full Edit: ChatGPT Uses FFmpeg, Python and Runway to Cut Viral Videos
omooretweets · x · 2026-11-05
omooretweets showed that you can produce viral-style video edits purely by prompting ChatGPT (referred to as Sol 5.6). He gave the model one inspiration video and let it tool-call as needed.
The model autonomously used FFmpeg, Python, and OpenCV, plus Descript and Runway plugins, to source clips online and produce a finished edit featuring Sam Altman.
The demo highlights how prompt-driven tool orchestration can replace manual editing workflows, letting anyone mass-produce short-video edits.
