Per a Runtimewire scoop, OpenAI has quietly built a hidden shopping feature inside ChatGPT that turns a user's Gmail inbox into a coupon feed. Screenshots show an "Email offers" panel with tabs for All offers, Coupons, Categories and Saved, letting users browse and save deals like 20% off, $10 off or free shipping.
Privacy-wise, saved items are references to offers rather than full emails, expiring after 30 days or when the offer lapses; toggles cover auto-categorization and coupon-code display. The feature appears hidden/unannounced so far.
