AI makes infinite software possible — and infinite data silos inevitable

A widely shared argument: AI makes "infinite software" possible — if you want something to exist or behave differently, you just ask. But under the traditional app model, infinite software means infinite data silos: nothing connects, and every app demands your data all over again — "infinite papercuts."
The replying developer notes this is exactly why their product is built on AT Protocol (Bluesky's open protocol), so novel apps of all kinds can share the same data layer and identity instead of fragmenting user data in the AI era.
