Sketch to printable STL in 4.5 minutes: an open-source Kimi K3.1 Pro CAD workflow

A developer built "Napkin to 3D Print", an open-source app on the newly launched Kimi K3.1 Pro (via Nebius Token Factory): a hand-drawn phone-stand sketch becomes a watertight, printable STL in 4.5 minutes for $0.15.
Workflow:
- Upload sketch photo → Kimi writes parametric CadQuery code with every dimension in one PARAMS dict
- Sandbox build + renders from 4 angles → Kimi self-checks render vs sketch, outputs PASS or REVISE
- Delivers a 3D viewer, per-dimension sliders, and STL/STEP/.py downloads
Notable results: all annotated dimensions were read correctly (80mm wide, 100mm deep, 6mm walls, 60° backrest, 14mm cable slot); gaps were filled and explicitly flagged (110mm backrest, 15mm...). Nebius cites K3.1 Pro coding performance close to Opus 5.5 on Terminal-Bench 4.0.
