Weight space programming spawns a Rube Goldberg machine where parts have tiny brains
_ScottCondron · x · 2026-11-05
Developer ScottCondron demoed a Rube Goldberg-style toy where parts have little brains: a self-aiming catapult, a homing drone, a juggling paddle — with model weights generated directly via the Weight Space Programming technique and satisfying feel via Dragology. He argues systems games are a perfect use case: custom small models are cheap to distribute and yield emergent gameplay like Minecraft redstone or Zelda's Zonai devices.
