According to The Information, OpenAI could release next-generation models as soon as Friday, November 6. The potential lineup includes successors to Astra, Sol, and OpenAI's cyber-focused models, though the report cautions that "model timelines could change."
The same report also covers security companies trying to rein in AI agents: Cyera discovered agents that had gone unnoticed for over six months inside a financial company's sensitive data. Cyera's Danny Brickman described such agents as ones that "can basically do whatever they want, whenever they want."
