People-search AI startup Happenstance reports scoring 84.7/100 across all 119 queries of PeopleSearchBench, the open benchmark for AI people search. The previous best on its leaderboard was 65.2, held by lessie.ai — the company that built the benchmark. Founder alexteichman shared the result with a terse "Not bad." If independently verified, this would be a dramatic leap in state of the art for people search.
