AMD AI executive Sharon Zhou joins Anthropic to return to frontier research

Sharon Zhou, previously an executive at AMD, announces she has joined Anthropic to return to frontier model research on models she 'fell in love with a decade ago.' In her farewell note she thanked AMD CEO Lisa Su as an exceptional leader who gave her great agency in her work. Jack Clark publicly welcomed her.
