Viggle Remake releases open weights for whole-video recasting with an MCP agent server
init-5 · reddit · 2026-11-05
Viggle released Viggle Remake on Hugging Face: open weights for recasting people and editing scenes in existing videos while preserving the original motion, camera and soundtrack.
Key points:
- Agent-first design: ships with an MCP server so agents like Claude Code or codex can swap people in videos of any length—cutting windows, painting keyframes, writing prompts, rendering, self-checking and stitching; longest run so far is a 2-minute music video, fully reproducible from the repo
- Manual use requires a well-structured prompt and painted keyframes; the Viggle app handles it all if you'd rather skip that
- Repo also includes ComfyUI nodes/workflows, int8/GGUF files for smaller GPUs, and rank-128/64 LoRAs
The attached image shows 22 edits generated from a single clip (a La La Land scene).
