Suno adds MIDI as a song starting point, letting users control melodies note by note
suno · x · 2026-11-05
Suno now lets users start songs from MIDI files by dragging them onto the Create page or picking MIDI from the + menu. Because MIDI carries notes and timing but no sound, it offers a more precise starting point than audio uploads: users can make the model play their notes exactly, or take a motif and develop it into something new. It joins text prompts and audio uploads as the third creation entry point.
