Solo dev open-sources a 100% local screen-monitoring agent with real-world triggers

Roy3838 · reddit · 2026-11-05

A solo developer shared an open-source agent built over a year that uses fully local models in the browser to monitor your screen and trigger actions — no cloud, private by design. Demoed use cases: spam notifications when you stop drawing progress for 5 minutes, phone call when the rice cooker finishes, Telegram with an image when someone approaches your car, a call when you clear the Ticketmaster queue, alerts for CapCut renders and shiny Pokémon encounters. Native apps exist for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android, with local models running on phones too. He's soliciting feedback and ideas.
