New paper proposes replication certification checkable by anyone in seconds
RexDouglass · x · 2026-11-05
Gary King, Yiqing Xu, and Yang Yang published "Replication Certification at Publication: Checkable by Anyone, Anywhere, in Seconds, Forever," proposing a mechanism that lets anyone verify a paper's reproducibility in seconds, permanently, before it even reaches journals. The authors hope it will make 100% reproducibility the norm while easing data editors' workload. The tool is open for testing now, with feedback welcome.
