Window company owner builds AI lead-finder: 1-6 real leads/day at cost of one paid lead per month
ArseniyZ83 · reddit · 2026-11-04
A Reddit user running a window installation business in Portugal/Germany shared the AI lead-finder he built after burning money on paid leads (€30-60 each, 1 real client/month).
- Scans 200 Facebook groups every 15 minutes, plus Telegram and WhatsApp chats
- Keyword filters in 6 languages, then an LLM classifies whether it's a lead, the service, location, and urgency
- Sends a Telegram card with the post link plus draft comment and DM in the post's language
- Knows which groups forbid business comments ("DM only"), and deliberately keeps a human in the loop before sending
- Excludes paid lead platforms entirely, open sources only
After 6 weeks: 1-6 real requests per day, steady new clients, running cost about the price of a single German lead per month. v1 was an old Android phone running a macro to scroll Facebook all night. He's considering packaging it as a product for other local service businesses.
