patience_cave · x · 2026-11-04
OpenAI officially announced the acquisition of Pierre (@pierrecomputer) to accelerate its vision of Codex as a place where teams build software together with AI, from first idea to shipped version. Pierre's open-source developer tools already power parts of Codex today, and the two teams will build on that foundation for the agentic era. (This post is a repost of the official announcement.)
