ComfyUI-StudioLight v1.0: open-source studio lighting control for AI portraits with key, fill and rim lights
Neat_Two_8536 · reddit · 2026-11-04
ComfyUI-StudioLight v1.0 (MIT, open source) gives direct photographic lighting control over generative portraits instead of prompt roulette. You position key/fill/rim lights in camera space, pick from six modifiers (octabox, beauty dish, stripbox, Fresnel, snoot, flash), and adjust intensity and Kelvin temperature. Two relighting modes: add studio light to the original scene, or replace subject lighting via estimated Marigold albedo; plus a direct lighting preview with cached scene analysis. Includes Relight and Create workflows, tested with FLUX.1/Krea and SDXL. Limits: single-view 2.5D geometry, no shadows from hidden surfaces, residual lighting in albedo, and diffusion refinement may shift small details.
