Formalizing PTX in Lean catches kernel bugs that testing misses

Inspired by "Formalizing PTX in Lean", remior had Claude rebuild the framework and use it to guide a GPU kernel optimization process. The formal proofs caught errors before testing — including bugs that testing did not catch at all (e.g. a bar.sync synchronization issue). "Proving > Testing": a practical tool to add to any kernel optimization loop.
