RoboColosseum launches: Hugging Face-backed open robot eval initiative with 100+ robots
DJiafei · x · 2026-11-04
RoboColosseum has launched — an open robot evaluation initiative founded by Hugging Face, BitRobot Network, EAIC and others, aiming to become the world's proving ground for physical AI.
Initial scale is substantial: access to 100+ real robots (Unitree G1s, LeRobot SO-101s, YAMs, Franka and more), 140+ in-the-wild scenes, open rollout data, and 10,000 free evaluation hours. The founders argue robotics desperately needs large-scale, trusted, in-the-wild evaluations and validations — this initiative aims to fill that gap.
