OpenXC7 gets a GUI: synthgui ties FPGA synthesis to bitstream in one app
Obijuan_cube · x · 2026-11-04
Developer jrrk2 released synthgui, a Qt 6 proof-of-concept GUI for the open FPGA flow behind OpenXC7, chaining verilator synthesis (with in-process libabc), nextpnr-himbaechel place & route, fasm2netlist LVS, prjxray bitstream generation and openFPGALoader programming into one interface.
The screenshots show live Place & Route visualization with 21,976 placed cells, OpenSTA timing panels, and per-stage status for the Xilinx 7-series flow. GPL-3.0 licensed, with Windows build support.
