OpenAI Agents API brings Computer Use to your agents with 2-3 lines of config
gabrielchua · x · 2026-11-04
OpenAI DevRel's gabrielchua highlights that the Agents API now lets you bring Computer Use into your own agents and apps: your app gets a managed Codex session plus a browser running entirely in the cloud.
- Official demo shows Codex drawing live in tldraw, with the API streaming events and screenshots so every run can be replayed
- Adding Computer Use to a hosted session takes just 2–3 lines of config, or Codex can set it up via the OpenAI Developers plugin
