Tencent Hunyuan ships Hy4 with vision, touting top-tier open-model status

Tencent Hunyuan officially announced Hy4, a new open-weight model adding vision capabilities. The team claims it is firmly among the leading open models, with productivity gains across finance, frontend, game development, office work, and research, and says it was built responsibly with cyber/biosecurity in mind.
Hugging Face staff reshared the launch noting Hy4 scores "quite good" on the Boeing Bench coding benchmark.
