Aixio Launches Managed MCP Service Connecting Coding Agents to Design Tools
aiiiiiaiaiaiaiwater · reddit · 2026-11-04
The Aixio team has released a managed MCP connection that lets compatible AI apps and coding agents tap into its media generation tools and Designer. A typical use case: when building a website, hand your logo, product photos, and style reference images to an agent, have the design done through Aixio, then pass the assets back into the page implementation.
Key details:
- Two workflows: let the Aixio Studio agent handle creative generation, or request design drafts to implement yourself; the Studio Agent quotes a price for confirmation before any paid generation
- Access: remote MCP over HTTP + browser OAuth — merely logging into the site won't auto-connect an agent
- Cost: connection setup is free, generation is billed with existing credits, with pricing depending on model and output settings
- The post also asks the community which friction point hurts most: passing reference images, cost approvals, waiting on tasks, or getting assets back
