All-In's Friedberg: $1 of Nvidia Spend Becomes $18 of Anthropic Revenue
lupantech · x · 2026-11-04
On the All-In podcast, Friedberg laid out a bull case that everyone in the AI value stack is making money, with the math to back it:
- Every $1 of Nvidia COGS becomes $4 of revenue at 75% gross margin;
- Hyperscale buyers (he cited SpaceX and Colossus) earn 83% margins on chip spend under five-year depreciation, with Colossus generating $1.25B/month;
- Anthropic's S-1 shows 85% incremental gross margin on each incremental revenue dollar;
- Traced end to end, $1 Nvidia spends corresponds to $18 Anthropic earns selling to customers.
The open question: are customers making 2-10x what they spend? That determines whether the whole chain holds up.
