Per the official changelog: typing ultrathink bumps effort to xhigh for one turn only, you can set per-subagent effort levels, and /usage explains limits in plain words with a quick-fix key. His pattern: (1) explore an idea with Opus 5.5 Medium, (2) write instructions via /be-ambitious, (3) type ultrathink to implement them, (4) profit — he claims at least a 10x quality jump.
