Nexus Mods makes AI disclosure mandatory for new mod uploads
The Verge AI · rss · 2026-11-04
Nexus Mods, the largest PC gaming mod repository, is taking a stance on AI: uploaders of new mods must declare "whether AI has been used in their work." Site owner Victor "Foledinho" Folmann said in a post on AI-generated content that unclear AI disclosure was among the most consistent user concerns; existing AI-generated and AI-assisted tags exist but need to be clearer, hence the mandatory disclosure.
