Wrap, an AI-first Mac screen recorder, uses your action log to let an agent edit footage
therealdanvega · x · 2026-11-04
Wrap is a new AI-first screen recorder for Mac, now recruiting private beta testers. Instead of adding AI to an existing editor, it starts with the agent and builds the recorder around what the agent needs.
Key features:
- Records screen, camera and voice while logging what you did: every terminal command with exit codes, test/build runs, focused file and line, clicks and typing
- Edit by words: strike a word and it's cut; cuts follow your voice so words never get clipped
- Coding zooms follow the line you're typing; secrets are masked before the event log is written via on-device OCR
- Other tools guess cut points from the transcript; Wrap knows what actually happened from the action log
