OpenAI CEO Greg Brockman welcomed Jill Hazelbaker to the team. Per Axios's Mike Allen, the well-known Washington figure is jumping from Uber to OpenAI as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. She described the move as "a chance to help shape how the world understands, engages with, and ultimately benefits from" AI — another sign of OpenAI doubling down on government affairs and public communications.
