Free no-sign-in MCP server compiles LaTeX (pdflatex/xelatex) and explains errors in plain words
PurplelinkPL · reddit · 2026-11-04
A Reddit user released a free MCP server that compiles LaTeX via pdflatex and xelatex with no sign-in required. When a build fails, compilelatex returns the real error output and explainlatexerror translates it into plain-language explanations with fixes; successful builds return the PDF. It's listed in Claude's connectors.
