Allen AI benchmark clarified: long-context eval for state-tracking tasks
lambdaviking · x · 2026-11-04
The author clarifies the benchmark is a long-context evaluation similar to RULER but for state-tracking tasks: solving a deterministic synthetic task over many inputs without reasoning tokens. Because the benchmark is fully deterministic (ignoring hardware nondeterminism), no oracle-max/pass@k style metrics were reported.
