Google Antigravity brings its coding agent to Eclipse IDE, joining VS Code and JetBrains
rseroter · x · 2026-11-04
Google announced that Eclipse IDE is now officially part of the Antigravity IDE family, alongside VS Code, JetBrains, Xcode and Zed. The extension, available on the Eclipse Marketplace, requires Eclipse 2026-06+ on macOS, Linux or Windows, and works with any Antigravity plan (including free tier) or Gemini Enterprise accounts. It lets developers delegate complex coding tasks, run multi-step agentic workflows and review proposed file changes without leaving Eclipse — positioned as keeping developers' muscle memory while Antigravity 2.0 serves as the command center for autonomous multi-agent work.
