Snowflake open-sources Arctic Platform, a modular post-training framework for LLMs
StasBekman · x · 2026-11-04
Snowflake AI Research's Stas Bekman introduced Arctic-Platform, an open-source (Apache-2.0) training and inference platform for LLM post-training including SFT, RL and custom training loops.
- Training and inference components are decoupled (e.g. disaggregated trainer/generator); Bekman says multiple weight-sync approaches are feasible and invites feature requests
- An on-prem version lets teams test everything transparently on their own GPUs
- The repo already includes recipes, docs and tests (65 stars, 21 forks)
