Stanford SAIL's AI-Tx Challenge asks teams to turn rare disease diagnoses into actionable treatment reports
zakkohane · x · 2026-11-04
The final phase of the SAIL AI-Tx Challenge is now open to all teams. Participants must generate a comprehensive therapeutic actionability report for hypothetical rare disease patients (input: JSON with genetic variants and clinical context). Reports must cover established targeted/supportive therapies, eligible clinical trials and off-label options, bespoke approaches (e.g., ASOs, gene therapies), and repurposing candidates — all with traceable evidence. Earlier phases (question benchmark curation, QA task) are complete; submissions are due January 5, 2027.
