Open-source AFK Pilot hits 180K installs, now supports DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017

AFK Pilot, a free and open-source IDE extension, now supports DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 in VS Code and its desktop app, with 180K installs so far.
Unlike generic ACP implementations (e.g., T3 Code), it offers /goal and skill autocomplete, "Minimal" and "Default" harness variants, and hands-free voice: dictate and say "grok send" (or a custom phrase) to send, plus spoken replies (requires a Grok subscription or OpenAI API key).
It also goes deep with other harnesses: workflows, subagents, and native features for Grok Build, Muse Code, Antigravity, Codex and Claude — all inside a single IDE extension.
