Tracy Pizzo Frey, former Senior Director of Responsible AI at Google Cloud, is organizing parents to push schools to ban Google AI. She says Google could let schools turn off AI Overviews but is instead cutting off Search for schools that reject AI. Common Sense Media gave AI Overviews its lowest rating, "Unacceptable Risk." The move was covered by the New York Times and amplified by Gary Marcus.
