fal raised a combined $1.65B across Series E (led by Sequoia) and Series F (led by Bessemer), with continued NVIDIA investment. Founded in 2021 by ex-Coinbase and Amazon engineers, fal powers infrastructure for AI image, video, audio and 3D models. Its co-founders argue generative media is one of only three major product-market fits in AI, alongside search and coding agents.
