atypica.AI unveiled a video-based AI moderator for live consumer research, claiming it's the first to pass the Turing test. In 40 hour-long depth interviews across five countries, participants weren't told the interviewer was AI: 60% believed it was human and 95% called it the most natural interview they'd had. Unlike scripted text/voice bots, it reads expressions, body language and hesitation, handles interruptions, and digs into details before returning to the guide. Launching soon with a waitlist.
