Merge launches Universal Context Layer: one MCP-connected context brain for all agents
shensi · x · 2026-11-04
Merge launched its Universal Context Layer: all agent harnesses (Claude, ChatGPT, in-house) connect via MCP to a single context layer spanning thousands of enterprise tools like Slack, Notion and Granola. It adds nightly "Dreaming" that improves skills, memory and retrieval, plus Insights for org-wide AI usage analysis — so every agent works from the same company knowledge instead of burning tokens on wrong answers.
