Investor rebuts AI bubble-burst claims: unlike 2000, model usage keeps growing

Rob Leclerc pushes back on "the AI bubble has popped": that claim requires assuming OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and open source growth are ALL slowing, and that models stop improving as intelligence-per-token prices fall — for which there is no evidence.
Contrasting with 2000: the dot-com era had glutted unused fiber, few internet users, slow unusable commerce, eyeball-optimized metrics, and no end-user spend flowing back into the system — none of which matches today's AI trajectory.
