Nvidia's share of China's advanced ADAS market falls from 50% to 28.5% as local chips surge
pstAsiatech · x · 2026-11-03
Analyst tphuang cites market data showing a rapid shift in China's advanced ADAS chip market: in April Nvidia held 50% share with Horizon at 13.6% and Huawei at 9.6%; by September Horizon rose to 20.3%, Huawei to 13%, and Nvidia shrank to 28.5%. XPeng and NIO's in-house chips are ramping deliveries, and TI has dropped out of the top 10 entirely. Nvidia will likely fall below 20% as stronger Horizon, SiEngine, Li Auto and BYD parts reach production vehicles.
