Developer xiaohu shared a 3D dynamic desktop built with Claude Code that displays ongoing work in real time — including Claude Code, Codex, Grok Bot sessions and all scheduled cron tasks — with voice announcements.
Notably, all the 3D animation was generated by Claude Code itself; a year ago he couldn't build even a simple 3D desktop pet, underscoring how fast coding models have improved for personal projects.
