Atypica's AI Video Interviewer Passed Its Own Turing Test: 60% of 40 Participants Thought It Was Human
thetripathi58 · x · 2026-11-03
atypica.AI introduced AI Moderator, a live video interviewer for consumer research that it claims is the first to pass a Turing test.
- In hour-long depth interviews with 40 consumers across the US, UK, Canada, Germany and Singapore — none told the interviewer was AI — 60% believed they were talking to a human, and 95% called it the most natural, least stressful interview they'd had.
- Unlike script-driven text/voice AI moderators, it reads facial expressions, hesitation and body language on camera, follows up on interesting answers, rephrases when a question doesn't land, and handles natural interruptions for up to an hour.
- The poster notes the best user-interview insights come from asking "wait, why?" on unexpected answers — exactly what it does. Product launches soon; waitlist is open.
