DeepSeek Flash cyber reportedly in beta, said to rival Opus 5.5 at code review
AccBalanced · x · 2026-11-03
Unverified reports say DeepSeek Flash cyber is in closed beta, with early users claiming its code-review ability rivals mythos/fable: on a project written by Opus 5.5 and reviewed by Astra Review, it still surfaced one P0 and several P1/P2 issues. Physicist Steve Hsu adds that even the DS Flash series could be post-trained to frontier level in math/physics with the right data environments, making open thought traces valuable to academia.
