azedai shared a striking 2D-to-3D comparison: a flat, stylized cartoon illustration of a basketball-playing teen is converted into a full 3D render that preserves every distinctive trait — the exaggerated proportions, dreadlocks, ball-spinning pose, colorful wristbands and chunky sneakers — while adding realistic materials and lighting. The consistency of the transformation is what makes it impressive.
