StoneX sees $309B in free cash flow losses for hyperscalers and neoclouds next year

Gary Marcus reposted a WSJ/Dow Jones Market Talk screenshot endorsing the claim that AI is the biggest misallocation of capital in history.
The substance: StoneX analysts estimate that six top hyperscalers plus neoclouds CoreWeave and Nebius will post combined free cash flow losses exceeding $309 billion in 2027, up from over $112 billion this year. They call the inability to fund this deficit "the single greatest concern on Wall Street at the moment," warning that chip companies with heavy datacenter exposure may struggle to re-rate higher until investors are confident the gap can be funded.
