Skills Manager: one CLI hub to sync agent skills across Claude Code, Codex, Cursor
solyarisoftware · x · 2026-11-03
Developer Dan Kornas released Skills Manager, a CLI-first tool that stops you copying the same skills into every coding agent. It keeps one central skill library and distributes selected skills via symlinks or copies to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other skill-loading agents.
Key points:
- Conversation-driven: one npx command installs a manager skill, then you just ask your agent to import, distribute, or update skills
- Multiple sources: git repos, download URLs, local zips, plugin marketplaces, discovery indexes
- Precise updates: uses each skill directory's git tree SHA as the update anchor, so unrelated repo changes never trigger false update notices
- One hub (/.skills-manager) serves 70+ catalog agents, with stale-copy detection, rollback, and a resident context-cost ledger
